New York (CNN Business) - Well, that didn't take long...
Apple unveiled the new iPhone 11 at its annual media event Tuesday, and people were quick to make their feelings about the model known on Twitter.
Here's what some of them had to say:
The phone comes in three versions: The iPhone 11 and the higher-end iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The basic phone, at $699, is cheaper than many previous iterations of the iPhone. But people wanting one of the premium models will have to shell out $999 for the iPhone 11 Pro or $1,099 for the 11 Pro Max.
Those willing to chalk up the cash for one of the Pro models, targeted at professional videographers and photographers, will get a phone with three cameras on the back: telephoto, wide and ultra-wide lenses. The cameras can shoot multiple videos simultaneously. Not everyone loves the way they look, though.
With three cameras featured on the 11th generation of the iPhone, people wondered what they might expect from new models a few years down the road.
Another feature of the new iPhone? Slofies. Yes, slow-motion selfies. Twitter users were disappointed Apple's promo video didn't feature a sloth.
All that aside, the new iPhone did seem to generate a healthy level of excitement on Twitter Tuesday evening. Now, it just remains to be seen whether that will generate the bump in iPhone sales on which the company is counting.
